Aim: To enable students to devise and deliver theoretical and practical sessions relating to Breathing Apparatus Instruction in a safe and competent manner.

Pre-Course Learning

There is a requirement for you to complete 10 assignment questions prior to your attendance.  Pre-course assignment is available to download from the Learning Management portal. If you need assistance to access this please contact Red One on 01392 444773.  Once complete the paper MUST be endorsed your line manager and then emailed to info@red1ltd.com.  

You will be required to submit an evidence portfolio and demonstrate instuctional ability.  

Learners who successfully complete the course and their evidence portfolio will be awarded an SFJ Awards Certificate at Level 3.

• Electronic copy of the completed pre-course question paper (further details available in (see 'What to Expect' section below)
• Pen and Paper for classroom activities
• Any equipment required to support your pre-prepared presentation. 
• Interspiro BA mask if you have one.  If you use another make of mask and require a smaller facemask please advise of your size by emailing info@red1ltd.com.  We will supply you with a facemask for use on one of our Interspiro BA sets, following familiarisation. 
• Full dry serviceable fire kit.
• Leather fire boots
• Flash hood
• Long sleeved sweatshirt (Service issue if applicable)
• Showering items for personal use
• Suitable changes of clothing (including under garments)
• Kneepads (optional)
• Name badge
